On September 21, 22 & 23, 2001, I'll be participating in a special and very
powerful event to fight against breast cancer. It's called the Avon Breast
Cancer 3-Day.

Last year I participated as a volunteer and so moved by the courage of the survivor's and their families, I registered immediately for this year's event determined to walk the 60 miles this year from Bear Mountain to New York City and raise as much money in memory of three of my friends and two of my relatives. My training began in February, I've lost ten pounds, walk 3-4 miles five days a week. I'm able to make this commitment unsuccessfully even at fifty-eight (smile).

In order to walk, I need more pledges!
